What brings me joy
"I'm bored." -- well that's very rare to say nowadays, but since my theory exam is over I am giving myself a little break from intense studying at least for now. Now the Theory 2nd exam is history, i say that i feel good about it. I can't wait til wednesday when i go to Peds clinical to verify if my intuition is true. Hopefully Dr. G will bring the grades for the sake of my peace of mind. God, I hope I get the grade that i deserve for the well-studied maternity & pediatrics exam. Wanna find out what i got as soon as possible so i can stop dreaming about it. Seriously i feel like im having anxiety attacks all over again just thinking about the exam..Lord please please let me know asap so i can get over it and stop thinking about it before i go bald and insane..
And now that the exam is over, these are the last 4 very important "tasks" i have to dwell on before finals. I had to put a giant ****** in my calendar:
- Maternity clinical presentation (something i dread the most!!! It's about "fetal distress" and "chorioamnionitis" during pregnancy, that i have to freaking teach the class, fyi)
- Pediatrics Calculation Exam (have to pass with a 90% to pass the class...this is tough since Math always irks me. but i know i'll survive..)
- Process presentation (about Substance Abuse during pregnancy...)
- Process big research paper (oh my what can i say)
So to give myself a little relaxing break after the brain-frying exam, me and my sister spent our Saturday at San Francisco with Mike. The original plan was to go to Cherry Blossoms Festival in Japantown, but it was raining so we continued to Plan B. (Probably gonna go next week to the festival when the weather is better). So we headed to Union Square, "window"-shopped at H&M, Forever21, Urban Outfitters, DSW, and ate at the food court in the mall. Good thing the weather wasn't bad at all. Later in the afternoon, went to "Cost Plus" World Market to get one of my favorite chocolate bars. It's an Australian confectionery called "Violet Crumble" that Mike introduced to me when we were in San Diego. It was really good and i recommend it a lot if you havent tried it yet, especially if you are a chocolate-lover like me.
At night, we just chilled at babe's place, relaxed, ate the junk foods that we bought, and ordered pizza while watching "The Illusionist"...a perfect excuse to pig out huh? lol..
I had no idea that I'm gonna love it! Cuz it when it came out in the theaters the title didn't really appeal to me for some reason, hehe..But i loved it, i loved the twist!
I like it more than "The Prestige" that was so disappointing...Ok i'm not gonna spoil it more for you so you can still go and watch it on dvd if you want... Mike and I also saw "The Reaping" last week in time for lent..
(this is random but what's up with the movies with THE in the titles, hehe..) Ehhh, it was an OK movie but it wasn't that great. The movie is hinting for a sequel, but it wasn't that special so I don't know if i'll watch it if ever.
Btw, Myspace is being veeeery annoying lately. Everyday I check my email to find out that i got hella messages from random people i don't know telling me that "i won a free digital camera" blah blah blah...Give me a break, gawd! What's up with those annoying people hacking accounts to send stupid messages. How do i get rid of those messages??? Hmp.Ok enough of ranting. Here's a list of things that "brings me joy". Came across a website one day that has this idea and I thought that it's something good to think about, to list what makes me happy... You should list yours too, why not right?
